AppStyler is designed and developed by Kristyne McDaniel of McStyles Software LLC. While AppStyler does include a basic framework, it is not intended to replace other vendor's framework products. We are committed to working with other framework and tool vendors so that you can use AppStyler with any framework you choose.
All software and updates will be delivered via the internet. You will be given an account on our web site. The user id and password for your account will be stored in your application so you don't have to type it in each time. The application can check for updates on a schedule you can modify, and then changes will be integrated automatically.
If you don't have access to the internet, or if you prefer to have your software delivered on CD-ROM, that option is available for an additional fee.
A trial package is available so you can preview AppStyler to determine whether it will work for you. At the end of the 30-day trial period, you will need to purchase a key code to permanently enable your product. Once your product's key code has been received, you will not be longer be able to return it for a refund.
Our first modules will be released during the month of November, 2007. Additional modules will be released over the next
three months. If you'd like additional information, please contact Kristyne McDaniel by
email.
If you saw the FoxPro Advisor ads we placed through 2001, you are aware that AppStyler has been much longer in the making than we had originally planned. This wasn't due to any issue with the toolkit itself, but instead was due to a series of very serious illnesses in the family. For us, the health of our family is the priority, and we've made major changes in every aspect of our lives to adjust to the new realities. The impact on AppStyler was that our product development was shelved for several years.
Because our initial plans for AppStyler changed so dramatically, we've also been working on a new pricing structure. The pricing will reflect the staggered release of the individual modules. Eventually, we will move to the subscription model that was initially planned for the toolkit. Our final pricing decisions will be made and posted at the time the initial modules are ready for release.
We are very aware that the disruption in our planned schedule was frustrating to our prospective customers. Over the years to come, we hope to earn your trust and patronage with an excellent developer's toolkit that has the potential to save you hundreds of hours of tedious work.
